New Banner for New Year

I decided to have some fun with the banner for the blog this year, and make one that I can change with the seasons.

I am excited about projects that are lining up for the new year. Here is what you can look for in the next few months:
  • Comic Translation of James - I am on Chapter four of the book (working on pencils for vs. 11-12 today) , and I expect to complete the project sometime in Feb.
  • An Online 'How to Draw Bible Comics" Session- I will be creating a comic translation of a story from Luke's gospel and turning it into a step by step lesson on how to draw comics and special considerations and ideas for translating the bible into comics. I will be leading a workshop later this summer on how to draw Comics and the Bible.
  • The story of Peter - I am working with a friend on the story of Peter in the gospels. More news to come on that as it develops.
  • More Digital Dailys - I like to work out digital techniques on photos and post them when I can.

Wishing you a blessed New Year!

Westminster Abbey

The sculptures of modern saints at Westminster Abbey was a delightful surprise. Martin Luther King, Oscar Romero, and Deitrich Bonhoffer are some of my favorite heroes of the faith.

Digital Painting Salisbury Cathedral

I was inspired by my family trip to England. Here is a digital painting of Salisbury Cathedral. Cheers.
